Meanwhile, Northeastern Clinton was able to grind out a solid win over Peru on Friday, taking the game 56-46. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Northeastern Clinton has managed all season.
It was another big night for Jordan Brown, who scored 31 points. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Castine, who scored ten points.
Beekmantown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northeastern Clinton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Beekmantown couldn't quite finish off Northeastern Clinton in their previous meeting back in February and fell 50-48. Thankfully for Beekmantown, Evan Manor (who scored 23 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
