Softball Recap: American Leadership Academy Patriots vs. Batesburg-Leesville Panthers
American Leadership Academy got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers.
Ellie Beers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. Beers was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since March 1st.

In other batting news, Breana Borges was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Brennan Wilson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
American Leadership Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
