Flag Football Game Preview: Littleton Lions vs. Green Mountain Rams

The Littleton Lions will square off against the Green Mountain Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Littleton 10.2, Green Mountain 9.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Littleton's offense might be in the hot seat on Wednesday considering what happened against Steamboat Springs on Saturday. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sailors. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Green Mountain faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Rams fell 20-14 to the Wildcats.

Green Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Littleton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Littleton took a serious blow against Green Mountain in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 47-0. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
