Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Panthers vs. Piketon Redstreaks

The Southeastern Panthers will take on the Piketon Redstreaks at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Southeastern has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 2.

Last Saturday, Southeastern was beaten by Unioto 88-49. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 567th, while the Shermans are ranked 84th).

Meanwhile, Piketon posted their biggest victory since December 28, 2024 on Saturday. They blew past Paint Valley 50-28.

Piketon's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Southeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
