Soccer Recap: Swansboro Takes a Loss

Swansboro's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Croatan Cougars by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Swansboro have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Fletcher Panos, who's now up to four this season.

Swansboro has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Croatan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-9-2.

Swansboro has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Coastal Christian on the 23rd. As for Croatan, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 win against Havelock on the 25th.
