Basketball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa was the 61-56 winner over Wilmington Charter when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Odessa Ducks took a hard 39-24 fall against the Wilmington Charter Force on Saturday.

Odessa dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Wilmington Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

When Odessa and Wilmington Charter next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Odessa will challenge Howard and their five-game winning streak at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wilmington Charter will try to stop Concord's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
