For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Blanchester and Clermont Northeastern meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Rockets 36-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Blanchester's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Clermont Northeastern, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Blanchester will venture away from home to square off against Williamsburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. Williamsburg's defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so Blanchester's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Clermont Northeastern, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bethel-Tate at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
