It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Berkeley had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eureka Loggers 71-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Yellowjackets have posted since December 27, 2024.

Despite the loss, Eureka still got an impressive performance from Will Mooney, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Humphrey Mbugua, who put up eight points.

Berkeley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. Eureka has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season.

Berkeley has already played their next contest, a 74-55 victory against St. Joseph Notre Dame on the 21st. Eureka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
