Baseball Recap: Willamina Comes Up Short

Willamina fell victim to Gaston and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 29-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Willamina saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominico Zito, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Willamina's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Gaston, their record is now 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Willamina will face off against Eddyville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gaston, they will square off against Valley Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
