Soccer Recap: Broad Run Comes Up Short

Broad Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Loudoun County Captains. While losing is never fun, Broad Run can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Loudoun County are ranked 33rd).

Broad Run's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for Loudoun County, the win keeps they at an undefeated 15-0-1.

As of now, neither Broad Run nor the Captains have any future games scheduled.
