Baseball Recap: Sullivan East Takes a Loss

Sullivan East fell victim to Providence Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Providence Christian Academy LIONS, falling 10-0. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Sullivan East saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Sullivan East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Providence Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan East will venture away from home to take on Green Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Bradley Central at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradley Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
