Slidell waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 61-49 win over the Vanguard College Prep Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-59 on Thursday.

Slidell's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Vanguard College Prep, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Slidell and Vanguard College Prep will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Greyhounds see the court they'll take on Bowie at 6:15 p.m. on December 2. As for Vanguard College Prep, their break will end when they face Round Rock Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 9.
