Volleyball Game Preview: St. Bernard's Crusaders vs. St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs

The St. Bernard's Crusaders are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Bernard's will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

St. Bernard's is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Brave Christian with a sharp 3-0 win.

St. Bernard's got stronger as the match went on, holding Brave Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-12.

Meanwhile, St. Vincent de Paul got the win against North Hills Christian on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Vincent de Paul took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-8, 25-7.

St. Vincent de Paul's victory bumped their record up to 14-15. As for St. Bernard's, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.

St. Bernard's couldn't quite get it done against St. Vincent de Paul in their previous meeting back in October of 2015 as they fell 2-0. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
