Basketball Recap: Ada Comes Up Short

Ada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 40-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Red Devils. The Bulldogs lost against the Red Devils in their previous head to head back in February of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 53-13 score last time.

Ada's record is now 2-16. As for Arlington, their record is now 7-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ada will take on Ridgedale at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arlington, they will head out on the road to face off against Columbus Grove at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Columbus Grove will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Arlington surely won't give up without a fight.
