Preview: Saint Mary's Hall vs. San Antonio Christian
The Saint Mary's Hall Barons will head out on the road to square off against the San Antonio Christian Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Saint Mary's Hall scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in January. Everything went their way against St. Anthony as Saint Mary's Hall made off with a 9-2 win. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Saint Mary's Hall with their most commanding win of the season.
Meanwhile, San Antonio Christian came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let St. Joseph Academy onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. San Antonio Christian's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.
They hit St. Joseph Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

Caleb Schuetze,
Paul Griffith, and
Ashton Salehi.
The victory makes it two in a row for Saint Mary's Hall and bumps their season record up to 4-4. As for San Antonio Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Saint Mary's Hall might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from San Antonio Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Saint Mary's Hall was down 4-0.
