Softball Game Preview: Peru Nighthawks vs. Plattsburgh Hornets

After dropping their season opener at home, Plattsburgh is headed out to face a Nighthawks team ready to give their home crowd a win. Peru fell just short of Beekmantown by a score of 7-5 on Friday. Nighthawks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Eagles since on Friday.

Meanwhile, Plattsburgh came up short against Northeastern Clinton on Wednesday and fell 13-10. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.
