Soccer Recap: Prairie Comes Up Short

Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mountain View Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mountain View this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in April.

Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-2.

Looking ahead, Prairie will welcome Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evergreen's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
