Basketball Recap: Community Christian Comes Up Short

Community Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 79-61 to the Prior Lake Christian Royals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in January (60), Community Christian still had to take the loss.

Elijah Wilson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 35 points and 14 rebounds for Prior Lake Christian. Wilson's big performance that evening made it 21 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Micah Lindsey was another key player, putting up 23 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks.

Community Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Prior Lake Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-5.

Community Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prior Lake Christian, they will host Immanuel Lutheran at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
