Sullivan West hadn't done well against Chester recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Hambletonians. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 6-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sullivan West has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs this season. As for Chester, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Sullivan West will head out on the road to take on Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Chester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beacon at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
