Football Game Preview: Weston-McEwen TigerScots vs. Riverside Pirates + How To Watch

Weston-McEwen has gone a perfect 4-0 against Riverside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The TigerScots will head out to face off against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Riverside took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Weston-McEwen, who comes in off a win.

Weston-McEwen will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up six points last Friday, then bounced right back against Irrigon on Friday. The TigerScots claimed a resounding 52-16 victory over the Knights. Considering the TigerScots have won three matchups by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Heppner, falling 56-6. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Mustangs are ranked third).

Weston-McEwen is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.6 points over those games. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
