Basketball Recap: Bergen Charter Takes a Loss

After flying high against University Academy Charter on Saturday, Bergen Charter came back down to earth. Bergen Charter took a 39-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beloved Community Charter Owls on Saturday. The loss was Bergen Charter's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bergen Charter fell to 5-1. As for Beloved Community Charter, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Bergen Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 36-35 victory against Passaic Arts & Science Charter on the 30th. As for Beloved Community Charter, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Snyder at 4:30 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
