Wilkes-Barre had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Berwick Bulldogs. Wilkes-Barre might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Wilkes-Barre's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Berwick, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6-1.
