Ellington came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Valley Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Ellington walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-3.

Megan Copeland paced Ellington's offense, picking up nine kills. Copeland got some help from Tayleigh Cowin and her 20 assists. Copeland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Ellington's win bumped their record up to 15-3-1. As for Valley, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3-1.

Ellington has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bunker on the 25th. As for Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Kingston on the 25th.
