Basketball Game Preview: North Atlanta Warriors vs. Alpharetta Raiders

The North Atlanta Warriors will challenge the Alpharetta Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Saturday, North Atlanta lost to Lambert on the road by a 66-47 margin. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Longhorns are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Alpharetta posted their biggest win since November 14, 2024 on Monday. They blew past George Walton Academy 58-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

North Atlanta's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-9. As for Alpharetta, their victory bumped their record up to 4-15.

North Atlanta came out on top in a nail-biter against Alpharetta when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 79-76. Will North Atlanta repeat their success, or does Alpharetta have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
