Chattooga posted their closest win since August 7th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Northwest Whitfield Bruins. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Haley Maddux paced Chattooga's offense, picking up 13 kills. Maddux got some help from Madilyn Wheat and her 14 assists.

Northwest Whitfield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addison Manis, who had 12 digs and three assists.

Chattooga's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Northwest Whitfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Chattooga didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Trion on the 23rd. As for Northwest Whitfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pepperell on the 23rd.
