Basketball Recap: Achille Comes Up Short

If Achille was feeling good fresh off their 62-37 takedown of Soper last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Achille Golden Eagles had to suffer through a 62-22 loss at the hands of the Boswell Scorpions. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Scorpions recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Achille now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Boswell, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Achille Golden Eagles challenge the Milburn Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on December 17th. Achille is facing Milburn at the right time seeing as Milburn is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Boswell, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Caddo at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
