Basketball Recap: Lakeland Regional Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Lakeland Regional had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 48-37 victory over the Ridgefield Park Scarlets. While the Lancers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lakeland Regional's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Ridgefield Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
