Boudi Sullivan put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Saturday. He struck out eight batters over 4.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Sullivan and Hammond Academy of Science & Tech will head out on the road to face off against East Chicago Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cardinals thanks in part to Sullivan: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
