Volleyball Recap: Rosebud-Lott Starts off Right with Win over Mart

Rosebud-Lott gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Mart Panthers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Rosebud-Lott's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 25-10.

Kaitlyn Jenkins paced Rosebud-Lott's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jenkins got some help from Alaya Cavitt and her 13 assists. Cavitt also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brynlee Laperouse, racking up three apiece.

Rosebud-Lott has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Milano on the 14th. Mart has also already played their next game (against Lorena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
