Soccer Game Preview: Henry County vs. Kenwood

The Henry County Patriots will take on the Kenwood Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henry County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Henry County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over West Creek. Henry County's winning goal came courtesy of Jacob Davis.

Meanwhile, Kenwood came up short against Greenbrier on Thursday and fell 3-1. Kenwood have struggled against Greenbrier recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Kenwood's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Henry County, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Henry County took their win against Kenwood when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
