After flying high against Wallace last Tuesday, Mitchell came back down to earth. The Mitchell Tigers took a 30-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Platte Blue Knights. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mitchell's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances.
