Football Recap: North Platte Bulldogs vs. Lincoln East Spartans
North Platte was the 41-38 winner over Lincoln East when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The North Platte Bulldogs took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln East Spartans on Friday. Lincoln East's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyle Campbell led the charge by rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Ryan Manning, who threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns.
North Platte's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln East, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
