Basketball Recap: Rye Cove Comes Up Short

Rye Cove lost against Holston back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rye Cove Eagles took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holston Cavaliers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rye Cove's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Holston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Rye Cove will challenge Thomas Walker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Holston, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chilhowie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Holston is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
