Softball Recap: Mount View Has No Trouble Against Twin Valley

Mount View barely beat Twin Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Knights blew past the Panthers 17-2 on Saturday. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Golden Knights this season.

Phoebe Dudgeon was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Dudgeon was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Krislyn York, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ry'Anna Hood, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Mount View now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Twin Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Mount View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
