Volleyball Game Preview: Kennett Indians vs. Notre Dame Bulldogs

Kennett hasn't had much luck against Notre Dame recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Kennett earned a 3-1 win over Twin Rivers. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won six in a row.

Kennett was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 15-25, 25-10, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame made easy work of Central on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted against the Tigers since October 12, 2022.

Notre Dame walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 26-24.

Kennett's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 15-11-3.

Kennett might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Notre Dame in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
