With a playoff win on the line, Pembroke rose to the challenge on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over the Coe-Brown Academy Bears. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Pembroke pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, Pembroke will host Merrimack Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Merrimack Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Plymouth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
