South Central entered their tilt with Morgan Township on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Cherokees by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Monday.

Jay Huerta paced South Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Huerta got some help from Clayten Strauch and his 17 assists. Dylan Shively controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

South Central's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Morgan Township, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.
