Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Charter Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lincoln Charter had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Langtree Charter Academy Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lincoln Charter took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-9.

Thomas D'Amato paced Lincoln Charter's offense, picking up six kills. D'Amato got some help from Dylan Lemmers and his 19 assists. Axel Carballo controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Lincoln Charter's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lincoln Charter is set to challenge their familiar foe Christ the King at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Langtree Charter Academy will take on rival Mooresville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
