The Westmont Sentinels will head out to challenge the Richmond-Burton Rockets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Westmont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

While Westmont's win against Plano wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sentinels had just enough and edged out the Reapers 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Sentinels have posted against the Reapers since April 25, 2017.

Westmont's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rocco Damato, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Richmond-Burton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Marian Central Catholic.

Richmond-Burton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Westmont, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1.
