Soccer Recap: Greene Central Takes a Loss

Greene Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Craven Eagles. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Greene Central couldn't quite close it out.

Greene Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for West Craven, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7.
