Basketball Recap: Highwood Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highwood). They walked away with a 66-53 victory over the Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Mountaineers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Highwood's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Great Falls Central Catholic, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Highwood has already played their next match (against Centerville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Great Falls Central Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Great Falls Central Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
