The Spencer Greenwave had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 70-61 victory over Northeast. Given Spencer's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Northeast is ranked 507th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Northeast still got an impressive performance from Amani Brown, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 assists. Another player making a difference was Kavon Conciauro, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Spencer pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.2 points per game. As for Northeast, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
