Adams had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Samuell Spartans as they made off with a 16-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 23-0 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Xavier Gomez, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Emilio Wong also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Adams always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .517 or higher in eight consecutive matchups.

Adams pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Samuell, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
