Softball Game Preview: Alliance Aviators vs. Howland Tigers

The Alliance Aviators will face off against the Howland Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alliance has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Alliance came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Marlington, falling 15-1. The Aviators haven't had much luck with the Dukes recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Alliance saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tashia Henderson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Howland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 10-7 to Padua Franciscan.

Alliance's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Howland, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
