Basketball Recap: Narragansett Extends Winning Streak to Four

Narragansett waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Johnston Panthers with a sharp 51-30 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-18 back in December of 2024.

Johnston's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annabella Gesauldi, who posted 12 points. Marissa Morsilli was another key player, putting up nine points.

Narragansett's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Johnston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Narragansett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-27 win against Coventry on the 13th. As for Johnston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-31 victory against Toll Gate on the 13th.
