Baseball Recap: Basha Takes a Loss

Basha fell victim to Tolleson and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 9-0 to the Wolverines. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Basha saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Hamilton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Hamilton's first of the season.

Basha now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Tolleson, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Basha will face off against Perry at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tolleson, they will take on Apollo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight.
