It was a good run, but Belleville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Caldwell Chiefs by a score of 3-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Belleville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Caldwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belleville will take on Nutley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Caldwell, they will face off against Montville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
