Recap: Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs vs. Wall Township Crimson Knights
On Friday, The Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs got themselves on the board against the Wall Township Crimson Knights, but the Wall Township Crimson Knights never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Crimson Knights as they made off with a 21-0 victory. Given Rumson-Fair Haven's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Wall Township is ranked 89th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rumson-Fair Haven got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alastair Orr out in front who rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Gallagher also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
The win makes it two in a row for Rumson-Fair Haven and bumps their season record up to 4-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21 points. As for Wall Township, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Rumson-Fair Haven will look to defend their home field on Friday against Delaware Valley at 7:00 p.m. Delaware Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Wall Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
