            Volleyball Recap: Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders vs. Valley Christian Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            
Central Wisconsin Christian was the  2-0 winner over Valley Christian when they last played one another  on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell just short of the Warriors by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday.
 Central Wisconsin Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Valley Christian into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21,  15-9.
Central Wisconsin Christian's offense was headlined by  Kiley Beer and  Abigail TenNapel, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from  Hannah Abel and her 24 assists. TenNapel was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
 Valley Christian found their leader in sophomore  Ellie Demler, who  had 17  digs. Those 17  digs set a new season-high mark for  Demler.
Central Wisconsin Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Valley Christian, their record now sits at 7-2.
 Looking ahead, Central Wisconsin Christian will challenge Sheboygan Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. After both having extra time off, Valley Christian and Wayland Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
