Volleyball Recap: Stoneham Takes a Loss

If Stoneham was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Watertown on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Lexington Minutemen on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Minutemen: they've now lost nine in a row.

Stoneham's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Lexington, the win also got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stoneham will welcome Wilmington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will host Concord-Carlisle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
